The Waiho'olu'u Kai print was created in the 1960s by the legendary garment manufacturer Howard Hope. During the cultural renaissance era, neon colors were very popular. As a result, Waiho'olu'u Kai was born then brought to Honolulu to be manufactured.
All of our shirts have their own stories. We hand-cut, stitch, and sew repurposed vintage aloha shirts and bring them back to life. As a result of this, all of our shirts are unique and can be deemed one-of-one pieces.
